Move together
Mom fitness that fits real life: Pilates, yoga, bootcamp, boxing and stroller workouts — with your baby right beside you, not a reason to stay home.
Orangeville · Caledon · Bolton & area
The Mama Edit is a local community for moms — walks, workouts, workshops, coffee dates and seasonal events that give you a reason to get out of the house, meet other moms, and feel like yourself again.
Come as you are. Babies and kids are always welcome.
Worth messing up the nap schedule for — most moms come on their own and leave with friends.
What we get up to
Fitness is one piece of it — but so are slow coffee mornings, making something with your hands, and the occasional night out where nobody asks you for a snack.
Mom fitness that fits real life: Pilates, yoga, bootcamp, boxing and stroller workouts — with your baby right beside you, not a reason to stay home.
Coffee meetups and stroller walks where the conversation goes past nap schedules — this is where the same faces start turning into your people.
Keepsake crafts, expert Q&As, and hands-on sessions where you learn something new and your little one is part of it, not in the way of it.
Cabaret nights just for you, plus the big seasonal ones — farm days, holiday markets and Pancakes with Santa — that the whole family talks about after.
Coming up
Small on purpose, and they fill up — if something catches your eye, don’t sit on it. Babies and kids are welcome at everything unless it’s a mom night (those are just for you).
An afternoon that’s actually about you: facials with Glowgetter Spa, refreshments, and an hour to breathe — with your baby right there with you. Plus a chance to ask skincare questions and get tips, special treatment discounts on site, and beautiful decor by One Touch Events.

Make a keepsake ornament of your little one while a hygienist answers your real questions about oral health — for you and for baby. Sweet, simple, and you leave with something for the tree.

Book Pancakes with SantaHow this started
On maternity leave with her second baby, Alyssa felt isolated — few friends or family nearby, and long days at home. So she posted one small event in a local moms’ Facebook group and hoped someone would come.
Strangers bought tickets. And those strangers left as friends.
That’s still the whole heart of The Mama Edit: give moms a reason to leave the house, meet other moms, try something new, and feel like themselves again. Events are relaxed, never overly structured or salesy — you should leave thinking, “I’m so glad I came.”
About the founder
I’m a wife and mom of two daughters, seven years apart, and I used to work in education. When my second maternity leave felt lonelier than I expected, I went looking for my people — and ended up building the thing I couldn’t find.
I started The Mama Edit in January 2026, and it’s grown the way the best things do: one walk, one coffee, one event at a time, with moms in Orangeville, Caledon, Bolton and the surrounding area showing up for each other.
“Motherhood is hard enough. Finding your people shouldn’t be.”
Good company

The everyday things that make mom life a little easier, a little cozier, and a little more put-together — gathered in one place so you don’t have to go hunting. Think of this as the “wait, where did you get that?” page from our events and the chat.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. If you shop through the links on this page, I may earn a small commission — it never costs you anything extra, and it helps support The Mama Edit and the events we run for local moms. Thank you for shopping through them, truly.
Just so you know: this page is brand new, so everything below is labelled a starter pick — a good, sensible place to start in each category, not a personal “I swear by this” favourite yet. As I try things for real and hear what you’re all loving in the chat, I’ll swap these out for true Mama Edit favourites and say so when I do.
Little things that help you feel like yourself again — in the car, at the walk, and everywhere in between.
For walks, workouts and the school run — the one thing that should always be in the stroller cup holder.
Phone, keys, a snack, done. For moms whose hands are — always — full.
For the mornings the wash just isn’t happening. No judgment here — we’ve all been there.
A tiny bit of colour that makes you feel pulled together in about ten seconds.
The practical stuff for the baby-and-toddler years — mealtimes, playtime, and getting out the door.
Catches more than you’d think, and just rinses clean. A mealtime sanity-saver.
So the spare outfit, the wipes and the soother aren’t all lost in the same black hole.
The simple toy that somehow entertains them the longest — bath, floor, high chair, everywhere.
Sturdy little stories that can handle being chewed on, thrown, and read for the hundredth time.
Because home is where most of motherhood happens — a few soft touches make it feel like a deep breath.
Light it after bedtime and the whole evening feels different. That counts as self-care.
For couch naps, nursing chairs, and movie nights you mostly sleep through.
The quickest cozy upgrade there is — a bedroom, a reading corner, a holiday mantle.
For the coffee that gets reheated twice and still somehow tastes like a small luxury.
Hosting a birthday, a shower, or your own little gathering? These are the basics behind our event tables and swag bags.
The swag bag staple — sturdy, simple, and easy to dress up with a bow or a tag.
A few sheets on top and any bag suddenly looks like a gift, not a grocery run.
The secret to a table that looks pulled together in five minutes flat.
A sweet finishing touch for favour bags, orders, and little notes of thanks.
Got a product you swear by, or one you keep seeing at our events and want linked here? Tell me in the chat or on Instagram — this page will keep growing with the things our community actually uses and loves.

About The Mama Edit
The Mama Edit is a local mom community and events brand in Orangeville, Caledon, Bolton and the surrounding area, launched in January 2026. We host walks, workouts, workshops, coffee meetups, mom nights and seasonal events — and moms come back, because they leave with friends, not just a nice morning.
For a local business, that matters: this isn’t an ad scrolled past. It’s your business, in the room, being experienced by moms who live, shop and book right here.
About Alyssa
The Mama Edit is founded and run by Alyssa — a local mom of two and former educator who started this on her own maternity leave, when she felt isolated and went looking for her people. That story is why moms trust it: every event is hosted by someone who is in this season of life herself, who shows up in the chat, at the door, and in the room.
When Alyssa introduces your business, it lands like a recommendation from a friend — because to this community, that’s what she is.
Who you reach
Our moms are mostly on maternity leave, stay-at-home moms, and moms with babies, toddlers and young kids — the ones making most of the household’s day-to-day buying and booking decisions, right here in our area.
Why it works
Anyone can put your logo on a post. We’d rather put your business in front of moms in a way that turns into bookings, orders and regulars:
They try the class, taste the thing, walk your space — with their baby beside them and their guard down.
Your offer or booking link goes to attendees after the event, while the experience is still fresh.
Trials become memberships, visits become birthday party bookings, one event becomes a standing date.
Ways to partner
Pick the level that fits where your business is right now. Pricing is worked out together, based on the event — what’s below is exactly what you get at each level.

How it works
Tell us about your business and what a good result looks like for you — bookings, orders, new regulars.
We match you to an event that fits your audience and your season. You host, show up, or provide the experience.
The Mama Edit promotes it, hosts it, and follows up with attendees afterwards — you just be your wonderful self.
Good questions
All booking is through Session. Tap “Book your spot” on the event above — Glow Hour and Keepsakes & Smiles go straight to their own booking pages, and the others open our main Session booking page at book.usesession.com/i/WWQd0rvWJ where you can pick your event (and, for Pancakes with Santa, your seating). The Merry Market itself is free and needs no booking — just come.
Yes — always. Babies and kids are welcome at every daytime event, including the workouts and workshops. The only exception is mom nights like Cabaret Night, and those are clearly marked as just-for-you.
Please do — most moms do. That’s kind of the point. Come as you are, and you’ll be chatting with someone within ten minutes. The same faces come back week after week, and that’s how the friendships actually start.
Across Orangeville, Caledon, Bolton and the surrounding area — local studios, cafés, farms and community spaces. Each event listing above shows exactly where to go. And we’re growing: Burlington, Newmarket and Woodbridge are on the horizon.
Join the WhatsApp chat — that’s where new dates land first and spots go fastest. Instagram at @themamaedit26 is the other good place to watch. Small events like Glow Hour (just 12 spots) can fill from the chat alone.
Have a look at the partner deck above, then send us an email. We’ll have a short call, pick a tier and an event that fits, and The Mama Edit brings the moms. We care about real results for you — bookings and new regulars, not just a logo on a post.
Join the village
The fastest way in is the chat — that’s where walks get planned, new events land first, and the “anyone else’s baby up at 3am?” messages make the nights feel shorter.
